Taylor Swift and Katy Perry may officially bury the hatchet in front of millions at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards if you believe a new report by the BBC UK.
On Monday (August 14), the outlet made mention of a rumored performance from the pop chart-toppers in a piece titled "The 9 greatest pop returns of 2017 (so far)." Granted, they don't say just where they heard the tidbit, but it's enough to have the pop blogosphere buzzing. Putting an end to the highly-publicized beef would be headline-making from the minute the number started and likely make the entire show because, let’s be real, we could all use a final nail in the coffin to this lengthy pop feud.
What is confirmed is Perry’s hosting gig for the 2017 ceremony, where she’s up for a number of awards and also hit the stage for a performance. Keep your eyes peeled as the 2017 MTV VMAs air live from The Forum in Los Angeles on Sunday (August 27).
