We always knew Iggy Azalea was amazing, but with the announcement of the nominations for this year’s American Music Awards, our bold assertions are confirmed. Off the success of such singles as “Fancy” (featuring Charli XCX) and “Black Widow” (withRita Ora), the Australian rapper has landed a whopping six nods, including Artist Of The Year and Favorite Female Artist – Pop/Rock.

Next up, John Legend, Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams landed five nominations apiece. Meanwhile, Lorde garnered four, with Beyonce, Eminem, One Direction,Imagine Dragons and OneRepublic witnessed three. The full list (below) was revealed by the newly-single Jason Derulo and Charli XCX during their appearance on "Good Morning America" on Monday (Oct. 13).

In the Artist Of The Year field, Azalea faces off against nine other contenders—this year’s category was stretched from 5 total artists to a stalwart 10. They are: Luke Bryan, Beyonce, Eminem, Imagine Dragons, Lorde, Legend, Perry, One Direction and Williams.

The 42nd Annual American Music Awards, with the winners determined by fans, are set to go live from LA’s Nokia Theatre on Sunday, November 23 on ABC at 8/7c. This year’s nominees were determined by several key factors (reflected via Billboard magazine), including album and digital single sales, radio airplay, streaming and social activity.
