Bob Dylan is being recognized by The Recording Academy. The legendary folk-rocker has been named the 2015 MusiCares Person Of The Year.
Recording Academy President Neil Portnow calls it "most fitting" to honor Dylan, whose "body of creative work has contributed to America's culture, as well as that of the entire world, in genuinely deep and lasting ways."
Crosby, Stills, and Nash; Neil Young; John Mellencamp; and Bonnie Raitt are already on board for the all-star concert gala, along with Tom Jones, Willie Nelson, Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, and others.
The 2015 MusiCares Person of the Year event will take place in Los Angeles on February 6th - two nights before the 57th annual Grammy Awards.
Congratulations to Bob!
