On a scale of one to 10, with 10 being Clark Griswold, Cassadee Pope’s dad is a nine-and-a-half at Christmastime. To get Cassadee and her sister, Ashley, to go to bed on Christmas Eve, he would play Santa Claus on the roof, so the real Santa would come sooner.
“He had sleigh bells and made this loud thud,” Cassadee says. “And my sister and I went to sleep like that. Christmas was really magical because of things like that.”
