The Kansas City Chiefs got off to a fast start with Kline Davis returning the opening kick from the Houston Texans 106 yards for a touchdown and they never looked back in a 30-0 at NRG Stadium in the first of four Wild Card Playoff games.
A steady Alex Smith and five Brian Hoyer turnovers helped the Chiefs close out the Texans in Houston for the second time this season. Smith hit Chris Conley for a five-yard touchdown, and Spencer Ware rushed for a score for Kansas City, which won its 11th straight game. Brian Hoyer threw four interceptions and lost a fumble as the Texans' offense never got into a rhythm.
