Trisha Yearwood is the lead-off singer for the World Series. Kansas City's 41 Action News says the country star will step up to sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" before Game One of the best-of-seven series, which begins with the Kansas City Royals hosting the San Francisco Giants Tuesday night.
Meanwhile, Little Big Town will be on hand when the series moves to San Francisco. The country quartet will do the honors for Game Three, taking place Friday.
Carlos Santana and former "American Idol" winner Phillip Phillips will help launch World Series games with the patriotic song as well. Phillips is slated to perform at Game Two in Kansas City on Wednesday. Santana is set for Game Four in San Francisco on Saturday.
All four World Series games will air on Fox, starting at 7:30 p.m. Eastern each night.
