Ted Cruz and Donald Trump aren't seeing eye to eye when it comes to "New York values." In tonight's debate in South Carolina, Cruz was questioned about his recent comment that Trump embodies "New York values."
Cruz summarized those values as being socially liberal, pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage, and focused on money and the media. He said not a lot of conservatives come out of Manhattan. Trump reversed the attack, and said that New York came together beautifully after the horrific 9-11 attacks. Trump described the sights and smells of downtown Manhattan in the aftermath of the terror attacks. He said the world took notice when the area was rebuilt. He said he was insulted by Cruz's remarks.
