Doctors Without Borders is helping test drugs and a treatment meant to combat the spread of Ebola. The humanitarian organization says it will host clinical trials in three Ebola treatment centers in West Africa.
Two trials of antiviral drugs will be tested as will plasma and whole blood taken from survivors as a means to fight the disease. Over 14,00 people have been infected with the Ebola virus and more than 5,000 people have died from it.
