Global Stocks Fall As Commodities Prices Fall

It's another brutal day on Wall Street. Stocks opened sharply lower at the open after Chinese markets plunged for a second day. The Shanghai composite dropped seven percent in less than a half-hour before trading was halted for the day.

The Dow spiraled downward a whopping 393 points to close at 16,513.  The Nasdaq lost an astounding 147 points to close at 4,689.  The S&P took a 47 point swan dive to close at 1,943.
