A drunken passenger caught on video hitting and beating a Southern California Uber driver is now suing him.
Former fast food executive Benjamin Golden was arrested and lost his job after Uber driver Edward Caban posted the dash-cam video on the Internet. Caban had already sued Golden for the attack that occurred last October. Now, the Orange County Register reports Golden is suing Caban for $5 million dollars, claiming he was recorded on video without his consent. Golden's suit claims invasion of privacy, infliction of emotional distress and assault and battery.
