Fleetwood Mac will remain in action this year, since Christine McVie is officially back in the fold.
Drummer Mick Fleetwood tells Hawaii's "Maui News" that Christine brought new songs with her when she rejoined the group, and they're planning to hit the studio in March to work on the material. Fleetwood added that the band planned to return to road later this year. While he offered nothing specific regarding their touring plans, he suggested the trek could get under way in the fall.
Christine officially returned to Fleetwood Mac earlier this month, following more than a decade away from the group. She sat in with the band at their London shows last September, which were her first concerts with Fleetwood Mac since her departure in 1998. Afterward, she said the shows reminded her of how much she enjoyed being in the band.
