The Foo Fighters helped England's Prince Harry close out the inaugural Invictus Games this weekend. Dave Grohl and company took the stage in London's Olympic Park Sunday night for the Closing Ceremony concert.
Prince Harry - who introduced the band and shared a hug with Grohl - helped organize the international sporting event for wounded soldiers. "NME" says Grohl dedicated the Foo Fighters hit "My Hero" to "all the heroes" out there that night, and called the show one of the most special occasions of their lives.
Foo Fighters set list according to "NME":
'All My Life'
'Times Like These'
'Learn To Fly'
'Cold Day In the Sun'
'Best Of You'
Leading up to the main event the Foo Fighters played a trio of gigs in tiny venues around the U.K., including one in the recently converted old tunnels under London's historic Waterloo Station. The band is gearing up for the release of its new album Sonic Highways, which is due out November 10th.
