Fans of the late George Jones will have a new way to learn more about the singer. The country legend's widow, Nancy, says she's developing a George Jones Museum, which she's planning to open in Nashville.
The facility will occupy a four-story, 44,000 square foot building, and house a restaurant, gift shop, event space, and music venue as well as memorabilia to tell the country Music Hall of Famer's story.
Nancy says she's "overjoyed to share George's legacy and memory with the Nashville community." She adds that she believes George "would be happy to know" she's found a way to "continue his legacy in the heart of Music City."
A timeline for the George Jones Museum hasn't been given. But Nancy says she'll be revealing more details soon.
