Mark Salling, best known for his role on the hit series “Glee,” was arrested in Los Angeles on Tuesday for possession of child pornography, the LAPD confirms to Gossip Cop. The department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force conducted a search at the actor’s Sunland, California home, where the illegal material was discovered.
Salling has been transported to jail where he will be booked, says the TV Show “Crime Watch Daily.”
This isn’t Salling’s first run-in with the law. As Gossip Cop previously reported in 2013, the actor was sued for sexual battery by former girlfriend Roxanee Gorzela for allegedly forcing to have sex without a condom. The alleged incident took place in 2011.
Gorzela claimed when she went to Salling’s home a month later to confront him about it, because she had “health concerns” and wanted proof that he was STD-free, he allegedly grabbed and pushed her to the ground, leaving significant bruising on her thighs and knees. She later filed a police report with the LAPD. Salling, for his part, denied any wrongdoing.
Gossip Cop will update as we gather more information.
