(NEWSER) – We hope it was worth it. A 22-year-old student of American University is facing up to $275,000 in fines after what police say was an out-of-control frat party on Jan. 15. Tyler Steinhardt, 22, ended up with 110 citations for allegedly providing alcohol to minors at a Bethesda, Md., residence that he leases, which is home to the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.

Police say they arrived to find two males carrying an unconscious 18-year-old female who was making "gargling noises" to an Uber. She was taken to a hospital with alcohol poisoning, reports WJLA. About 30 officers "from all over the county ended up responding to help out to maintain control of this party," a cop tells WTOP.
