The Florida State Seminoles were down heading into the half for the first time all season. It didn't matter to freshman quarterback Jameis Winston. He acted like a seasoned vet, leading the Seminoles to a thrilling 34-31 victory.

With 1:11 remaining Winston drove the Seminoles down the field. He capped off the drive with a 2-yard touchdown pass to Kelvin Benjamin with 13 seconds reamining.

The final five minutes of the game were wild. It started with a 100-yard kick-off return by Kermit Whitfield which gave FSU their first lead since it was 3-0. Aubrun answered back with a touchdown to retake the lead. That left Winston with 1:11, and the game in his hands.

The Seminoles wrapped up an undefeated season earning their first National Championship since 1999.
