(NEWSER) – It's not just an urban legend: Someone apparently does hide razor blades in Halloween candy, as a child in Ohio can now attest. A group of trick-or-treaters were splitting up their haul after a night out in Reynoldsburg on Thursday when a child bit into a bite-sized Snicker's, police say, per WBNS.

"It didn't feel right, so they stopped and noticed an object in it, which appeared to be a disposable razor blade," police rep Shane Mauger tells USA Today, noting the child wasn't hurt. "This is the first time in 19 years that I've handled anything like this."
