Peyton Manning made history on "Sunday Night Football" during the Broncos 42-17 romp of the 49ers at Mile High. Manning broke Brett Favre's career pass touchdown record of 508 when he found Demaryius Thomas for an eight-yard score late in the second quarter. His 509th TD pass was his third of the night after connecting with Emmanuel Sanders and Wes Welker in the first quarter. Manning finished with 318 yards passing and four TDs.
Ronnie Hillman ran for 74 yards and two scores on the ground, while Thomas stayed scorching hot with eight catches, 171 yards and two TDs. The Broncos are 5-and-1. San Francisco struggled to get anything going on the ground rushing for 62 yards on 18 carries including nine attempts and 20 yards from Frank Gore. Colin Kaepernick threw for 263 yards, one TD and one interception as the Niners fell to 4-and-3.
