(NEWSER)  – In a dispute certain to have millions of Americans cheering for the IRS, Martin Shkreli appears to be having tax trouble. According to documents obtained by Gawker, the federal government filed a tax lien against the widely despised pharma CEO on Dec. 18, 2015, demanding $4,628,928.55 in unpaid taxes for 2014 and warning that there's now a lien on "all property and rights to property belonging to this taxpayer for the amount of these taxes, and additional penalties, interest, and costs that may accrue."

Raw Story notes that Shkreli also suffered a $40 million trading loss recently, which could affect his bail on federal securities fraud charges.
