An Oregon mother could spend the rest of her life behind bars after throwing her autistic son to his death from a bridge. The "Oregonian" reports Jillian McCabe has been sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty to a murder charge. As part of a plea deal, she'll be eligible for parole after 25 years.
In 2014, McCabe threw her six-year-old son off a bridge in the coastal town of Newport. She had reportedly planned the murder for weeks, going as far as to search on Google, "Can you die from falling 133 feet into water?"
