On top of her recent covers for NME and Maxim, Taylor Swift appears on the November cover of Vogue Australia to talk about her star-studded squad of friends.
On Sunday (October 11), America's Sweetheart took to Instagram to show off her dazzling cover of the magazine, which was photographed by Emma Summerton. For the shot, Tay Tay is seen rocking a short bob and a glamorous pastel gown with a quote that reads: "I want to surprise, not shock."
"My friendship group is one of my favorite things about my life right now. Our friends really have each others' back. It's the first time in my life that I've had anything strong like that in the friendship department," the newly crowned queen of Instagram said of her squad.
As for how she linked up with famous friends like Lorde, the pop titan said it usually starts with a simple reach out. "A lot of the time I'll reach out to people to tell them they're great and a friendship will come out of them. Ella and I — Lorde — we met on our own because her album came out and I sent her flowers and told her it was great and now she’s one of my best friends. Friendship often comes from admiration and that feels like a natural way to be friends with someone because you've established you respect what the person does."
