President Obama is making a quick stop on his way to Hawaii for his annual Christmas vacation. Friday, the President is scheduled to stop in San Bernardino to meet privately with families affected by the mass shooting on December 3rd. Presidential spokesperson Josh Ernest says that the White House is aware of the security precautions needed for a  trip like this, and have prepared accordingly. Ernest also stated that the President’s trip should not interfere with law enforcement’s on-going investigation of the terrorist attack that left 14 dead, and 22 injured.

Ernest refused to comment on the status of the FBI’s investigation.
