On Wednesday (October 21), it was reported that the sextet are currently in "extensive talks" with the NFL to serve as entertainment for the mega-sports event. Even though other names have been tossed across the table like Coldplay and Bruno Mars (who performed during the 2015 game), Adam and company are said to be the front-runners for the gig.
If Maroon 5 lock down the coveted spot, they'll need to up their game, considering 2016 marks the Super Bowl's 50th year anniversary. The game takes place at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California and will air on CBS.
