Selena Gomez revealed in a new interview that she's "so beyond done" talking about her relationship with Justin Bieber. And she most especially does not want to discuss the Instagram video of him serenading her inside a Beverly Hills hotel before the American Music Awards.
As Gossip Cop reported, Bieber sang “My Girl” to Gomez in front of a crowd at the bar inside the Montage Hotel in November. The moment was captured on video, fueling rumors that the exes had rekindled their romance. But as Gossip Cop also noted, on Sunday night, Bieber posted an Instagram photo of himself making out with Hailey Baldwin in St. Barts, seemingly confirming that those two are hooking up.
In a discussion with Rolling Stone, which was obviously conducted before the Bieber and Baldwin kissing photo emerged, Gomez was asked to explain the video of Bieber singing to her. “What is it like to have the world see that?” the interviewer asked, to which the singer answered, “Well, I am sorry, first of all. And honestly, what I would love to be printed is that I am so beyond done with talking about that, and him.”
The reporter, however, did press the issue a bit further, asking if the leak of the video made the situation at the AMAs “harder.” Gomez explained, “Not at all. I don’t alter my life because of what people are going to talk about.” She added, “If I go and have a great time, I live my life and nothing is going to dictate how I feel unless I let it.”
