Huge Snow Storm Slams Into Mid Atlantic States

(WGY) The U.S. Geological Survey says the shaking people felt along the Jersey shore this afternoon was most likely caused by a sonic boom -- not an earthquake. The USGS says it's gotten reports from people who felt the shaking from southern New Jersey up to Long Island, New York. The sonic boom occurred shortly before 1:30 local time. It's not known what caused it.
