Taylor Swift has donated $250,000 to support Kesha, whose request for an injunction against Dr. Luke was denied by a New York judge Friday.

"In a show of support, Taylor Swift has donated $250,000 to Kesha to help with any of her financial needs during this trying time," Swift's spokesperson told E! News.

Kesha's mom Pebe Sebert additionally confirmed the pop singer's generous gesture by tweeting Sunday night, "Taylor Swift just generously donated $250,000 to Kesha, as a show of support during this difficult time. AMAZING!!

"A persons wealth is not measured by what they have but by WHO they they help with it. And Taylor Swift is is a truly RICH PERSON. Thank you [rose emoji]," she added. "Most important for Kesha, is that these beautiful, powerful women are standing behind her, letting the world see how powerful the truth is!"

In the latest chapter of Kesha's ongoing legal battle against the producer, the singer requested an injunction that would allow her to record new music outside of Dr. Luke's Sony-owned Kemosabe Records.

New York Supreme Court Justice Shirley Kornreich sided with Dr. Luke and Sony, telling Kesha and her legal team, "You're asking the court to decimate a contract that was heavily negotiated and typical for the industry."

Following the new legal hurdle placed in front of Kesha, fans and stars including Kelly Clarkson, Ariana Grande, Lorde, Lady Gaga and Demi Lovato have all reached out via social media to show their support.
