Tim McGraw is adding his talents to The Recording Academy's first holiday special. The country star is among the performers on board for the inaugural "A Very Grammy Christmas," which will be taped at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles Tuesday night.
The event will feature the stars singing their own hits as well as holiday favorites, and recalling special memories of the season. The multi-genre lineup also features Mary J. Blige, Ariana Grande, Maroon 5, Pharrell, and others. LL Cool J is slated to host the show.
"A Very Grammy Christmas" will air on CBS on December 5th at 9:00 p.m. Eastern. During the hour-long special the nominees for the Grammy's Album of the Year will be announced. Nominees in the other Grammy categories will be revealed earlier in the day. The 57th annual Grammy Awards will be presented in a ceremony airing on CBS on February 8th.
