The assistant professor who tried to chase a journalist away from a University of Missouri campus protest is reportedly being charged with assault. Several media outlets say Melissa Click has been charged with third-degree assault.
Click made headlines in November when she confronted a student videographer during the protest and ordered him to leave. When the student refused, Click can be seen on the video asking other protesters, "Who wants to help me get this reporter out of here? I need some muscle over here." Click could face 15 days in jail for the misdemeanor charge.
