Border Security Remains Key Issue In Presidential Campaigns

Obama administration officials are preparing to deal with an influx of unaccompanied children and families from Central America over the next several months

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has begun constructing camps in North Texas, with some Dallas area officials anticipating as many as 1,000 children could arrive in the next week, reports Wall Street Journal.

Back in November, National Border Patrol Council Vice President Chris Cabrera stated that despite CBP claims that “illegal immigration flows have fallen to their lowest level in at least two decades,” illegal immigrants were crossing the border at “unseasonably high rates.” (AUDIO: Border Patrol Union Leader: Illegals Crossing At ‘Unseasonably’ High Rates)
