Hannah Davis is the 2015 cover model of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. The news was announced and the cover was unveiled one week earlier than usual on Wednesday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” The cover image show Davis in a bikini, pulling down the front of her bottoms dangerously low. See the larger image and video announcement below!
Fallon first said during his monologue that Sports Illustrated usually keeps the Swimsuit issue a “big secret, and it’s almost impossible to get an advance copy of the magazine, but this is the ‘Tonight Show’… We have to make the impossible possible.” He then walked down the studio’s stage and said, “Behind this curtain is the official never-before-seen top secret cover of the 2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition, and tonight, for the first time, we’re going to unveil it.” With the help of his sidekick Steve Higgins, the two pulled down a giant curtain to reveal the cover with Davis. Higgins and Fallon repeatedly said, “Whoa” and “Oh, my goodness” after unveiling the sexy cover shot.
But that wasn’t all. Fallon said the only thing that would be better is “if the cover model herself were here now,” and with that Davis came out, albeit dressed in considerably more clothes. While Fallon asked Davis about the honor, she instead focused on Higgins and asked him if he’d like “to get out of here,” and the two walked off arm-in-arm.
Davis, who has been in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition before, is also known to many as the girlfriend of retired New York Yankee shortstop Derek Jeter. This is her first time as the cover model of the magazine. You’ll recall the 2014 Swimsuit issue cover featured Chrissy, Teigen, Lily Aldridge, and Nina Agdal, posing topless and wearing only thong bikini bottoms. And before that Kate Upton graced the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition cover back-to-back in 2012 and 2013. Check out the cover with Davis, as well as Fallon’s announcement on the “Tonight Show” below, and tell us what you think.
