James Corden and Sean Hayes played Justin Bieber’s song "Sorry" on a giant piano, just like in the movie Big, on Thursday’s Late Late Show.
Corden began the segment by saying that he just got a new toy, a giant piano, but admitted, "I can’t play the piano very well," though he added he’s practicing and getting better. The Late Late Show host then introduced Hayes, who he noted is a much more skilled piano player. Corden and Hayes then played "Heart and Soul" with their feet, much like the classic scene in Big with Tom Hanks and Robert Loggia.
While Hayes and Corden were winded from jumping back and forth to play the keys, the talk show host suggested they next perform something a "bit more hip, down, and groovy with the kids." Hayes asked, "Do you know Justin Bieber?" Corden, who has done a couple of Carpool Karaoke segments with the singer, replied, “Do I know him? He drives me to work almost every day.” And with that they began playing Bieber’s song "Sorry." Not only did they perform the song with their feet, but Corden and Hayes also sang the hit tune, though they were still a little out of breath.
