Kendrick Lamar is proving why he deserves to be "GQ" magazine's "Rapper of the Year." In a video posted on GQ's website, K-Dot unleashes a freestyle rap in celebration of the honor.
The video also takes fans behind the scenes of the photoshoot for December's "Men of the Year" issue. Kendrick was selected as one of five celebrities to grace separate covers of the annual spotlight issue.
In an accompanying article, Kendrick opens up about his relationship with Drake, who he seemingly dissed on his cypher freestyle at the BET Hip Hop Awards. He says the two are "pretty cool," but adds that he "would be okay" if they weren't.
The other celebs featured on "GQ's" "Men of the Year" cover include Justin Timberlake, late actor James Gandolfini, Matthew McConaughey and Will Ferrell and his "Anchorman" character Ron Burgundy.
