Kim Kardashian refused Kanye West’s invitation to go up on stage at the end of “Saturday Night Live” and say goodnight to the audience, “SNL” cast member Aidy Bryant revealed on Monday’s “Watch What Happens Live.” Watch the video below!
During Bryant’s appearance on the Bravo talk show, hosted by Andy Cohen, a caller asked the comedienne to spill the “craziest thing you saw Kanye do backstage at ‘SNL.'” She answered, “At dress rehearsal, he brought Kim up on stage for goodnights, and she kind of was nervous and like, ‘Why am I here?’” Bryant added, “She was like, ‘This is not my show. I shouldn’t be up here.’ And I was like, ‘You’re fine girl!’ Then she went and stood down weirdly in front of the audience. It was exciting for me.”
Bryant also noted that Kardashian was wearing a “floor-length fur coat” while reluctantly on stage at the show’s dress rehearsal. The “SNL” comedienne said she tried a second time to assure the reality star, “You can be up here,” but Kardashian still didn’t feel comfortable joining all of the performers for the show’s end of the night farewell.
