Looks like it's going to be one hell of a year for Lady Gaga. Not only is she working hard on LG5 and set to unveil a special collaboration with Intel, but she just scored her very first Golden Globe award for Best Performance in a Miniseries or Television Film – Actress for her role on FX's "American Horror Story: Hotel" on Sunday night (January 10).
Almost halfway through the broadcast, Kevin Hart and Ken Jeong took to the stage to introduce the nominees for the award, which also included Queen Latifah ("Bessie"), Sarah Hay ("Flesh & Bone"), Felicity Huffman ("American Crime") and Kirsten Dunst (Fargo), before announcing Mother Monster's big win.
"I feel like Cher in that John Patrick Shanley film Moonstruck right now. This is one of the greatest moments of my life," the star confessed at the podium. In addition to thanking show honcho Ryan Murphy and the rest of the star-studded cast, Gaga admitted that she always wanted to be an actress before a chart-topper, but as she put it, "music worked out first."
Congratulations on your Golden Globe win, Lady Gaga!
