Let the David Bowie tribute performances continue! On Monday (January 25), Miguel performed a very intimate set in Los Angeles and it included a special tribute to the late music icon with a cover of "Space Oddity."
For the 300-person crowd at Los Angeles club Bardot, the R&B singer mashed up the Bowie classic with his own 2015 Wildheart track "Waves" atop a simple acoustic guitar backing. Back in October, Miguel told NME that he wished he actually wrote the Bowie favorite, adding, "That song is just forever going to be classic. At the time … we were just going to the moon. It's just insane, the timing of it."
As you might have expected, his set also reportedly included performances of "Simple Things," "Hollywood Dreams" and "Adorn."
