The Weeknd performed “The Hills” on this week’s “SNL” with Nicki Minaj. The song is off his second album, Beauty Behind The Madness. See the video below of The Weeknd’s performance of “The Hills” on “Saturday Night Live.”
“The Hills” is the second track off The Weeknd’s sophomore album, Beauty Behind The Madness. The version with Minaj is a new remix. The original song reached the number one position on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, as well as on its Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Sings, Mainstay Top 40, and Rhythmic charts. Interestingly, when “The Hills” hit number on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, it replaced The Weeknd’s “Can Feel My Face,” which had been in the top spot.
The music video for “The Hills” is rather downbeat, starting with The Weeknd crawling out of a car that’s flipped over. He then opens two doors to let women out of the crashed car, which later explodes. The Weeknd then limps up a road, which leads to a seemingly abandoned mansion, where upstairs he finds the two women from the car.
He also performed “Can’t Feel My Face” on this week’s “SNL” for his second song.
