Professional wrestling fans are mourning the death of legendary performer "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes. The WWE Hall of Famer and three-time world champion who was born Virgil Runnels passed away today at the age of 69. The Texan was a fan favorite known as a man of the people who boasted about being the "son of a plumber."
After retiring from the ring, he remained in wrestling behind the scenes, most recently working with WWE's developmental talent in Tampa. His sons, Dustin and Cody, are both currently wrestlers in WWE.
