We're not the kind of band whogoes on stage and plays the entirety
of our new album and then goesthat's it. You're not getting in any
of the others. I've been toshows like that and they're awful. We
like people to go home happy andfeeling that they've seen Duran Duran the one

they wanted to see. Well,you do have to fit in a couple
new songs, and what are thesongs that you want people to really kind
of experience before the show from thenew album. Um, well, we
always we've been playing give It AllUp. That's one of the songs off
the new album, which seems tohave a very very good response with the

crowd, and I think Invisible hasa great response too, And that you'll
always when you come to see aDuran Duran's show. In between in between
Nia Rodgers and Chic and Ur andjow and you may see people running on
the stage of bits of paper,tearing up things off the stage and sticking
new ones down. That's where that'sthe setlist changing. By the way,

did I mention that we have anincredible night's entertainment with not just Nia Rogers

I'm a survivor for twenty years.And yeah, I weirdly, I
do remember the butterfly Girl. She'llbe very happy to hear that, because
you know she we talked. Becauseyou know, we have a song on

one of our albums called Butterfly Girl. It was actually written about my daughter
Mber, but it is a youknow, anybody who feels like a butterfly
girl, it's yours. Awesome.Yeah, so she's very happy about that.
She'll be there in full butterfly regaliaagain. Um. Yeah, cancer.
He's also doing at some sort ofpromotion. Yes, I saw a

Northern California VIP contest for cancer awarenessthat you're doing. Can he tell us
about that? Yeah, we're we'vegot what We've got A band member of
ours, very dear band member,Andy Taylor, was diagnosed with stage four
metastatic prostate cancer. So we areplaying a benefit show to benefit Andy and

others fighting this insidious disease. It'sgoing to happen on the nineteenth of August
at the Menlo Theater, sorry thatthe Guild Theater in Menlo Park, which
is near Stanford. It's that partof northern California where all the money is

nice that but we're raising money.We're raising money to help the fight against
prostate cancer. Yeah, in particularAndy's personal fight. Very nice. Yeah.
So yeah, I'm a cancer survivor. We do the same kind of
thing. We raise money to helpwomen in this area who are fighting cancer.
So we're all we're all in itso in some way or another.
So I thank you for doing that. It's really awesome. Um, so
another question, favorite video in thein the eighties that you filmed? Oh,

my favorite video of us? Oh, Sabor Prayer, Savor Prayer,
good way. Yeah. The tripto Sri Lanka was amazing. I mean
it was also I had to say, you know, we filmed three videos
there. We filmed we filmed videofor Lonely Lonely in your Nightmare, um,

for Sabor Prayer obviously and hungod Likethe Wolf. It was an amazing
trip. I find it very difficultto choose between Savor Prayer and Hunger Like
the Wolf, which is my favoritevideo. Both are wonderful children for you.
So it's all it's all right,you can't you don't have to choose.
It's goods my favorite child. Yes, all right, Well we're out
