"Shout it out loud:" KISS is back in the studio with new music for the first time in more than a decade.
Iconic rocker Gene Simmons recently revealed that the band is not only back in the studio, but that they've also already recorded a new song written by bandmate Paul Stanley.
"KISS is in the studio now," Simmons admitted during an interview with KISSbySienna, a YouTube channel run by superfan Sienna Hernandez. "So, we just recorded a new song, as a matter of fact, that Paul wrote. I can't tell you more about it. That'll be coming out at some point."
Notably, the Grammy-nominated rock band has not released any new music since their latest album, 2012's Monster.
Last month, the group announced the return of their KISS Kruise, which will take place Nov. 13-15 at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. Last year's cruise featured a number of exclusive experiences for fans, including panels with bandmates Stanley, Simmons, Tommy Thayer, Eric Singer and manager Doc McGhee. They are all slated to return to the upcoming cruise, which will also feature interactive exhibits, meet and greets and a look-alike contest.
The event will also include a special tribute to the late Ace Frehley, a founding member of the band, who died last October at age 74 following a fall at his home.
