Anne Reid

Anne Reid is a British film, television, and stage actress, best known for her work in the British soap opera Coronation Street, sitcom Dinnerladies, and romantic drama series Last Tango in Halifax. Born in Newcastle upon Tyne, she first became involved in the arts when she moved to London and enrolled at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
