Biography
The Brain Surgeons were formed by original Blue Öyster Cult drummer Albert Bouchard and his wife, rock critic and ex-Flaming Youth drummer Deborah Frost in 1994. At first, the Brain Surgeons were largely the duo's project, with occasional help from friends and relatives; this approach produced the group's 1994 debut, Eponymous, released on their own Cellsum Records label and featuring the ambitious, humorously skewed lyrical perspective of the leaders.
