Biography
Argentinean rock project Canturbe was created in the late '70s by singer/guitarist Jorge Garacotche, joined by bassist Luis Blanco, guitarist Alejandro Fiori, and drummer Gabriel Pelizzari. The band's self-titled debut album had special guest Charly García on keyboards. Released by Polygram in 1981, that first record was followed by 1983's Bonpland, featuring a particular version of Carlos Gardel's "Soledad." Canturbe issued Clandestino in 1986.
