Focusing on pop songs arranged for orchestra, choir, and soloists, Cinematic Pop is a crossover project conceived by composer/arranger Rob Gardner, Drex Davis, and McKane Davis. Gardner's prior releases included several sacred classical works, including Lamb of God, recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra and Spire Chorus. Behind singers Spencer Jones and McKenna Breinholt, the project performed an expanded arrangement of Tears for Fears' "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" on the TV talent competition America's Got Talent in 2016.
