The duo Climie Fisher was part of a forgotten British Invasion in the late '80s. Bands from the U.K. like Johnny Hates Jazz, Waterfront, and Curiousity Killed the Cat tried to lure American audiences with a polished amalgam of blue-eyed soul and light funk.
