Formed in Holland in the early 80s, hard rock band Dark Wizard featured Berto Van Veen (vocals), Marcel de Groot (guitar), Kees Reinders (bass) and Tony White (drums). One of their nation's few contributors to the black metal tradition, Dark Wizard played forceful death metal with oblique, diabolical lyrics.
