David Deveau

Biography

Pianist David Deveau has toured widely, making appearances in China and Japan as well as the U.S. and Europe. He has also had important careers as an educator and as a festival administrator. Deveau was born in Concord, Massachusetts, in 1953. His teachers included Russell Sherman, Beveridge Webster, Veronica Jochum, Richard Goode, and Gaby Casadesus. Deveau earned a master's degree from the Juilliard School in New York. He made his recital debut at Alice Tully Hall in New York in 1982 and developed his career with help from a National Endowment for the Arts Solo Recitalist G...
