Derek Taylor

A press officer for the Beatles throughout much of the '60s, Derek Taylor was also an author of sorts, ghostwriting Brian Epstein's autobiography, A Cellarful of Noise, and writing a book on the 1967 Summer of Love, It Was Twenty Years Ago Today. Taylor also worked as a publicist for several other important '60s groups, as well as in various capacities at several record labels.
