Emy Bernecoli

Emy Bernecoli counts early music among her studies, interests, and performances, and wrote a thesis on the Romantic era Paganini's Le Streghe, but her recitals in the 2010s and her first recordings demonstrate her emergence as a specialist in 20th century Italian violin music. Bernecoli earned her soloist's degree in Brescia in 2006, working with Domenico Nordio after lessons from Pavel Vernikov and Mariana Sirbu.
