b. Eric Clarke, c.1960, Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies. Clarke, popularly known as ‘Fish', followed in the footsteps of his brother Johnny Clarke into the Jamaican music business. While Johnny established himself as a popular vocalist, Eric found his vocation playing drums. In 1978 he toured the UK with the late Prince Far I as part of his backing band the Arabs. The line-up of the group included Errol Holt on bass, Earl ‘Chinna' Smith on lead guitar and Winston ‘Bo Peep' Bowen on keyboards.
