Eddie Argos and Dyan Vald+¬s comprise Everybody Was in the French Resistance...Now!, a side-project lark that's every bit as silly as its name suggests. The genesis of the group came when Argos (the frontman of British punky-pop yuksters Art Brut) and his girlfriend Vald+¬s (who plays piano and sings with L.A. indie rockers the Blood Arm) were on a road trip together and Argos explained his frustrations with the premise of Martha Reeves & the Vandellas' "Jimmy Mack."
